Autumn is fully entrenched and do I dare say, winter is looming in just a few short weeks. No matter, we will be here through it all. 71 days until Christmas. Sadly, still 223 days to Memorial Day and the 2020 start of half day Fridays.
In September we had a bittersweet parting of one of our team members. Ali Jabbour, who was wrangling the marketing department and herding the creative staff left us, but for an outstanding opportunity. She is now the Associate Publisher at Long Island Business News. We wish her much success.
As luck would have it we were very fortunate to bring Jody Maze on board as our new Integrated Marketing Manager. Jody brings over 20 years of increasingly responsible experience to LGC. Jody is very well rounded in all marketing aspects including digital, traditional, social media, and direct marketing production.
Our printing and letter-shop division is in full swing with clients like Northwell Health, Hofstra University, St. John’s University, and New York Blood getting very active.
The big reveal of the Life Center of Long Island rebranding was awesome – new logo, new color palette, new website. We are engaged with the Marty Lyons Foundation, helping them grant wishes to very sick children. We are also representing John’s Crazy Socks, a father and son company that hires people with differing abilities and gives back 5% of their revenue to the Special Olympics and the National Down Syndrome Association. Another client, Intralogic Solutions, is a leading school safety program focused on protecting schools and students from intruders and possible shooters. It is very exciting to see the success and progress of these companies and know that Lorraine Gregory is helping.
Our second annual coat and clothing drive has begun. We will once again be working with Haven House and Mercy Haven to distribute the clothes to the homeless and needy on Long Island. Contact Gina@lgcli.com for details.
