Making Strides at the Parkinson’s Foundation Moving Day Walk

On October 4, 2025, Lorraine Gregory Communications joined the Parkinson’s Foundation’s Moving Day Walk at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park in Oyster Bay—a day dedicated to movement, awareness, and hope.

LGC employees, along with family and friends, walked together as Greg’s Moving Crew, led by our CEO, Greg Demetriou. Greg started this group as part of his personal fight against Parkinson’s, and it has since grown into a community rooted in compassion, connection, and purpose. Each year, this crew shows up to walk for Greg—and for everyone living with Parkinson’s.

The event was filled with energy and encouragement. Participants enjoyed food, live music, and activities like golf and axe throwing, while groups such as Rock Steady Boxing and the Hofstra University cheerleaders brought extra spirit to the day.

Together, Greg’s Moving Crew raised over $3,000, surpassing their goal, and the Parkinson’s Foundation raised over $100,000, making the event an incredible success.

At Lorraine Gregory Communications, we’re proud to stand beside Greg and the Parkinson’s community. Each step we take reminds us that when we move together, we move forward.
