Supporting Our Community: LGC hosts Clothing Drive to Benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island

Lorraine Gregory Communications participated in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island Clothing Drive Challenge, an initiative that encourages communities to come together to support local youth. At LGC, we believe in giving back to the Long Island community that we’re proud to call home, and this drive was the perfect opportunity to do just that.

Making an Impact Together

From August 4 to August 18, our team, along with friends and family of LGC employees, donated over 15 bags of clothing to help local kids through life-changing mentoring programs. Each item contributed to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island’s mission to create one-to-one mentoring relationships that empower youth to reach their full potential.

Why We Support BBBSLI

Since 1977, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island has been dedicated to nurturing and inspiring young people. Their work strengthens communities, reduces risk factors, and opens doors to opportunities for children across Long Island. By participating in this clothing drive, we are helping ensure that these programs continue to thrive, giving kids the tools they need to succeed in school, relationships, and life.

Giving Back Is at the Heart of LGC

We love supporting initiatives that strengthen the communities around us. This clothing drive reminded us how small acts of kindness, like donating clothing, can create a ripple effect of positive change. We’re grateful for the generosity of our employees and their families, and we’re proud to stand alongside BBBSLI in their mission to empower local youth.

At LGC, supporting our community isn’t just something we do. It’s a reflection of who we are. Together, we can help children reach their full potential and make Long Island an even stronger, brighter place for the next generation.
